Office Expansion
The Brief
Local family-run electrical business needed to double the storage and office space available due to an ever-expanding workload but did not want to move from its brand new industrial unit which was secured on a long term lease. For this reason, they decided on an office expansion project with ESE Projects.
The Project
After a series of lengthy consultations with the landlord and the local authority, we designed and installed a mezzanine floor over the entire industrial unit, complete with a public access silver finish staircase.
Although the building had a relatively low roof height, we turned the upstairs into a modern and practical office with laminated wooden flooring and quality fittings. The suspended ceiling was installed inline with the slope of the roof and the portal frames were encased to make them a feature, giving the offices a unique appeal.
The ground floor was then dedicated solely to storage and was laid out using three different shelving and cantilever bar rack systems to accommodate the many variations of size and weight of products needing to be stored.
