Storage and cleanroom facilities for a pharmaceuticals manufacturer
The brief
As a result of increasing orders, local company involved in the manufacture and packing of pharmaceutical goods required compact new premises, with high quality cleanroom facilities, to expand their capacity significantly.
The solution
We worked directly with the end user to develop cleanroom and packing facilities that incorporated all of the services required to operate them, and left enough space for the storage of raw materials and finished product.
We needed to pressurize the rooms, provide windows throughout the facility to enable natural light and integrate a series of conveyor systems into the layout. The rooms were constructed using 250 linear metres of LabLine all steel insulated core partitioning under a steel pan ceiling, above which was a 650 m2 fire rated mezzanine floor. We also installed a dispatch office, PVC strip curtains for the doors and heavy duty pallet racking.
This company has also prepared plans and specifications for the controlled expansion of the site using the same materials and suppliers to ensure the quickest possible order placement to build time.
